It's sunny again today here in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture.

It was a sunny day, perfect for wandering around, so I headed down a road that I had been curious about.

As we walked, we went deeper into the mountains.

Praying not to encounter a bear, I suddenly realized I had come so far that I was hesitant to turn back.

There was no sign of anyone, and there was only one house every few hundred meters. While I was walking through the mountains, a car came by, which was unusual, so I moved to the side of the road so as not to get in the way and let it pass.

A few seconds later, the car that I thought I had passed by started backing up and coming towards me.

???

Immediately after thinking what was going on, I heard, "Kimura-san! What are you doing in the middle of the mountains?"

Me: "You're wandering around."

I met an acquaintance I hadn't seen in years, and we laughed and chatted, which was a warm moment brought about by the fine weather.
